Welcome
Club Segovia Orientación (Segovia-O), in collaboration with the city councils of Segovia and Real Sitio de San Ildefonso, would like to invite you to participate in the II City of Segovia Orienteering Trophy. This event is part of the official calendar of Liga Norte, Liga FOCYL, Liga Madrid, and during this weekend the last event of the European urban orienteering league is held with the Segovia City Race (City Race Euro Tour). The event consists of three competitions: medium distance, sprint and long urban distance.
Hundreds of orienteers from all over the national and international territory will meet in Segovia, a monumental citydeclared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. Known for its impressive Roman Aqueduct, the Alcazar, the Cathedral, and a medieval town centre full of alleys, squares that make up an exceptional setting for a long-distance urban orientation race.
And to have a magical weekend, October 25 is the local festival of Segovia «San Frutos» and there is a very complete program of cultural activities, concerts, dances, traditional food… Do you know a better plan for a weekend?
